Pastor Sidney Wade Gross woke up in the middle of the night and thought the small red glowing numbers on the alarm clock looked a little bit demonic. This was probably because it was 3:16a.m. and the town siren was going off. The siren was mounted on a pole by the fire station and served as noon whistle, tornado warning and, no doubt in this case, a summons for volunteer firefighters.
